CRIDERSVILLE — One of two men charged with the robbery of a Delphos woman in June was taken into custody without incident Wednesday evening at his Cridersville apartment.

According to a release issued by the Delphos Police Department, Tristen Thompson, 20, was taken into custody by Cridersville police around 6:15 p.m. Wednesday at his Waverly Street apartment.

Police were acting on a tip that Thompson was inside his residence. Officers arrived and took Thompson into custody without incident. He was later transported to the Allen County Jail.

Police were assisted by deputies from the Allen County Sheriff’s Office at the time of his arrest.

Investigators in Delphos had obtained a warrant for Thompson in July in related to the robbery charge. He is one of two men police say robbed a woman in her home in the 500 block of South Washington Street in Delphos on the morning of June 23.

The woman was injured during the offense and she had been treated and released from a local hospital, the statement said.

Bryce Cottrill, 20, of Wapakoneta, was taken into custody July 15 in connection with the robbery and is being held held in the Allen County Jail under $200,000 bond.

The August session of the Allen County grand jury will hear this case against both men, police said.
