LIMA — Police are looking for a black male who robbed the Clark gas station on Findlay Road at gunpoint early Tuesday morning.

According to Lt. Brian Leary of the Lima Police Department, the man — who was wearing a mask and gloves — walked into the station at 603 Findlay Road at approximately 12:30 a.m. Tuesday brandishing a firearm. He reportedly pointed the gun at a clerk in the store and demanded money before fleeing on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.

A police K-9 officer tracked the suspect eastbound from the station for a block or more before losing the scent, Leary said.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call LPD Detective Todd Jennings at 419-221-5228 or CrimeStoppers at 419-229-STOP (7867).
