Hardin Co. OSU Extension plans ‘crop walk’


MT. VICTORY — The Hardin County OSU Extension office will hold a free fruit and vegetable crop walk for commercial producers and home gardeners from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, at 17051 Township Road 199, Mt. Victory.

OSU plant pathologists Sally Miller and Melanie Ivey will share tips on how to manage plant diseases in fruits and vegetables. Hardin County OSU Extension educator Mark Badertscher will also be present to talk about driftwatch, a voluntary communication tool for crop producers, beekeepers and pesticide applicators to protect specialty crops and apiaries.
