LIMA — There will be a candlelight vigil to call for humane treatment of refugees and asylum seekers at 8:30 p.m. Friday, July 12, at the Unitarian Fellowship Church, 875 W. Market St., Lima.

Local residents are invited to participate in a shared time of bearing witness to the plight of migrant children and their families in the United States. There will be singing, brief speeches and resources available in addition.
