Spectrum working on ‘interference issues’

LIMA — A spokesman for Spectrum confirmed to The Lima News on Wednesday that the cable and internet company is working to resolve “interference issues” after some customers in the Lima area complained local television stations were not coming in.

“We are experiencing interference issues that are occurring between our equipment and some broadcast signals,” said William Morand, a senior communications director for Spectrum. “These signals involve the same frequencies that serve our residential customers. We are working on solutions to both the broadcast and residential issues.”
