Putnam County Common Pleas Court

June 6

Mike Pardo III, 22, 25 Vine St., Apt. 10, Leipsic, was sentenced to 12 months in prison each for possession of drugs (cocaine) two counts and 24 months in prison for heaving weapons while under a disability. He was also sentenced to 12 months in prison for aggravated possession in drugs (Methamphetamine). He was given credit for 6 days served. The sentences were ordered to be served concurrent to each other for a total of 24 months. Two counts of tampering with evidence were dismissed.

June 11

Gwendolyn C. Luttfring, Pandora, and Alan P. Luttfring, Pandora, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married May 23, 1998 and have three minor children.

April A. Chavez, Leipsic, was granted a divorce from Johnny Chavez, Leipsic. They were married May 13, 2000 and have one child.

Janiece Quinn, Ottawa, and Kevin Quinn, Ottawa, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married April 8, 1995 in Port Trenton, Pa.

June 12

Sandra Miller, Ottawa, and Zachary Miller, Ottawa, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married Nov. 3, 2007 in Continental and have three children.

June 13

Douglas A. Gallaspie, 38, 8028 Richey Road, Van Wert, was sentenced to eight months in jail for violating community control sanctions. The violations included using cocaine. He was given credit for 176 days served. He originally convicted of theft of check.

Patricia J. Hipsher, Fostoria, won judgment against the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation, Columbus, and Penske Truck Leasing Co., Reading, Pa. A civil jury found Hipsher was entitled to participate in the workers compensation fund.

Brittany M. Baldwin, 27, 851 W. Fifth St., Marysville, was sentenced to 180 days jail for possession of heroin. She was referred to the WORTH Center and jail will be suspended upon admission. She was given credit for nine days served and placed on five years community control, must obtain and maintain employment and successfully complete any and all counseling and treatment recommended.

Putnam County Municipal Court dispositions

June 10

Miguel A. Nunez, 37, 2196 Road 18B, Continental, pleaded guilty to domestic violence. Sentence: 30 days jail, suspended, $150 fine and complete mental health assessment.

Haley M. Dennis, 23, 515 Fourth St., Hamler, pleaded guilty to OVI. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, 177 days suspended, $750 fine, $375 suspended, one-year license suspension, with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP.

Amanda M. Powers, 27, 1400 Carnation Apt. 23, Montpelier, pleaded guilty to marijuana possession. Sentence: $150 fine and six-month license suspension. She was also fined $500 for non-compliance and $50 for speeding.

Jacob J. Kline, 18, 2501 Debbie Drive, Elida, pleaded guilty to drug abuse/possession. Sentence: $150 fine.

June 11

Shawn L. Viars, 44, 500 E. Harmon, Oakwood, pleaded guilty to carrying a concealed weapon. Sentence: 10 days jail, suspended, $250 fine.

Dennis R. German, 59, 307 S. Fifth St., Kalida, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of second-offense reckless operation. Sentence: Four points, 30 days jail, suspended, $250 fine, one-year license suspension.

Jeffrey Weber, 29, 134 N. High St., Columbus Grove, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of persistent disorderly conduct. Sentence: 30 days jail, 29 days suspended, $150 fine and complete batterer’s intervention.

Robert F. Garza, 19, 117 W. Sugar St., Leipsic, pleaded no contest to drug possession and was found guilty. Sentence: $150 fine and six-month license suspension.

Hailey Meronk, 21, 302 W. State Route 613, Continental, pleaded guilty to drug abuse/possession. Sentence: $150 fine and six-month license suspension. She was also fined $150 for drug paraphernalia.

June 13

Danny L. Ruiz, 44, 225 N. Orchard Drive, Leipsic, pleaded guilty to unauthorized/tampering reg/plates. Sentence: 30 days jail, 27 days suspended, $50 fine. He also pleaded guilty to drug paraphernalia. Sentence: $150 fine and six-month license suspension. He was also fined 100 for child support suspension.

Jerald L. Kroeckel Miner, 30, 1608 Terrawenda Drive, Defiance, pleaded no contest to drug abuse/possession and was found guilty. Sentence: $150 fine and six-month license suspension. He was also fined $150 for drug paraphernalia.
