LIMA — The Allen County Sheriff’s Office is releasing few details surrounding the apparent homicide of a man Friday night.
According to Sgt. Josh Howbert, around 6:30 p.m. Friday officers were called to the 2400 block of Lark Avenue on the report of shots fired. When officers arrived, they found a man lying in a yard, suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. Neighbors reported hearing three to five shots. Suspects were seen running north from the area.
No other information is expected to be released until sometime Monday.
