CAIRO — Ted Miller, of Cairo, owns this beauty, a 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle SS. He showed it off at last year’s Westgate Charity Car Show. Miller has owned this classic for four years.
“The deal was there, and I liked it,” Miller said.
The Chevy Chevelle was first produced in 1964 as the smaller version of the Impala. Chevy executives had no idea this nameplate would be as popular as its big brother, the Impala.
When the Super Sport edition debuted, Chevy found its glory in the muscle car battle of the 70’s. The 1972 Chevelle was the second-most selling car in the United States.
Miller enjoys showing his Chevelle at car shows.
