LIMA — Work on the Melrose Street storm sewer drainage project in the City of Lima was delayed Monday by heavy rain, with work to resume on Tuesday, weather permitting.
The road closure dates for the project are Tuesday and Wednesday.
Lima stormwater manager Jim Morrisey also reports that Robb Avenue, between Cole Street and Metcalf Street, will be closed to through traffic today and Tuesday to allow Hohenbrink Excavating to install the outlet pipe for the Melrose Street project. The public is advised to use an alternate route as a detour during this time. Local traffic to businesses will be permitted.
