2 bystanders shot Friday in Lima while at graduation party

LIMA — Two people, a 14-year-old girl and a 67-year-old man, were shot while attending a graduation party in Lima just before 7 p.m. Friday. They were hurt in an alley between Catalpa and Holmes avenues.

According to Lima police, at least two men were shooting at each other in the area, unrelated to the party. The bullets struck the two bystanders attending the party.

The victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Their names have not been released.
