Items needed for tornado victims

LIMA — Starting Saturday, Lima Councilor Derry Glenn will be collecting disaster relief items to be dispersed to the victims of the tornadoes that struck Celina and Trotwood.

Items needed include bottled water and juices, non-perishable foods, baby formula, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry supplies, hand sanitizer, toiletries, baby wipes, blankets, pillows, towels, underwear, socks and trash bags.

Individuals can drop off any items at Fresh N’ Faded, 227 S. Main St., which will then be distributed by the Dayton Foodbank.

Glenn said he and other volunteers will also be knocking on doors throughout Lima this weekend to collect any items that could help tornado victims.
