LIMA — The Allen County Museum will present its newest exhibit, “A Century of Quilting,” with a members preview from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 14 at the museum, 620 W. Market St., Lima.
The exhibit will be on display in the Changing Gallery until Sept. 15.
Focusing on quilt styles popular throughout that period, visitors can experience noteworthy examples of patchwork, appliqué, crazy, and signature quilts. Most of the quilts on display have been donated to the museum from residents throughout Allen County. The oldest quilt on display dates between 1820-1840 while the most recent quilt dates to 1935.
