Volunteer day planned to clean up Kuffner Nature Preserve


Volunteer Work Day: 9 a.m. to noon, Kuffner Nature Preserve, 14840 county road 66A, St. Marys. Pick up litter, removing invasive plants, trimming branches, mulching.

ST. MARYS — Heritage Trails Park District will host Volunteer Work Day from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 8, at Kuffner Nature Preserve, 14840 county road 66A, St. Marys.

Help spruce up the park land by picking up litter, removing invasive plants, trimming branches and spreading mulch. This is open to all ages. Bring plenty of water to drink, sturdy boots, work gloves, long pants and sleeves. Helpful tools include shovels, rakes, garbage bags, wheel barrels and tree trimmers.
