May 29

Christopher D. Frey, 37, 2020 Road E, Leipsic, pleaded guilty to aggravated possession of drugs (methamphetamine). He faces up to 12 months in prison and $2,500 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 3 p.m. July 1.

May 30

Gerald J. Okuley, 26, 12508 Road G, Ottawa, was sentenced to 180 days jail with 179 days suspended for attempted possession of methamphetamines. He was fined $500, must obtain and maintain employment and complete all counseling and treatment recommended.

Robert D. Andrews, Fort Jennings, was granted a divorce from Alesha J. Andrews, Fort Jennings. They were married June 25, 2005 in Lafayette, Ind., and have three children.

State Bank and Trust Co., Defiance, was granted judgment against Cheryl K. Kuhn, Defiance, executrix of the estate of Jack D. Bibler, Continental, in the amount of $17,813.06, plus interest and costs.

May 20

Mark E. Morning, 37, 340 N. Keyser Ave., Deshler, pleaded guilty to driving under suspension. Sentence: 30 days jail, $250 fine. He also pleaded guilty to another charge of driving under suspension. Sentence: 30 days jail, $250 fine with sentences to run consecutive. A charge of taillight required was dismissed.

May 23

Denver L. Wynn, 41, 1235 S. Richard St., Indianapolis, Ind., charged with receiving stolen property, a felony, bound over to common pleas court.

Angel M. Flores, 24, 18 Cherry St., Leipsic, pleaded guilty driving under non-compliance suspension. Sentence: 30 days jail, $250 fine. She also pleaded guilty to another charge of driving under non-compliance suspension. Sentence: 30 days jail, $250 fine, with sentence to be served consecutive. A charge of turn signals was dismissed.

May 28

Matthew S. Sherman, 29, 5873 County Road F, Deshler, pleaded guilty to second offense OVI. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, 90 days suspended, $1,000 fine, five-year license suspension, complete drug and alcohol assessment. A charge of left of center was dismissed.

Daniel J. Stauffer, 24, 1704 Durango Drive, Defiance, pleaded guilty to resisting arrest. Sentence: 90 days jail, $250 fine.

Jordan T. Dove, 20, 600 Sunnydale, Elida, pleaded guilty to OVI. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, 177 days suspended, $750 fine, $375 suspended, one-year license suspension, with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP.

Ryan C. Morin, 29, 125 E. Sugar St., Leipsic, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of reckless operation. Sentence: $150 fine. A charge of right of way/stop sign was dismissed.

May 30

Der’Rayaunce T. McDaniel, 19, 889 Circle Drive, Defiance, charged with firearms in a motor vehicle, a felony, bound over to common pleas court.

Lawrence M. Buss, 46, 14721 Road 22K, Cloverdale, pleaded guilty to driving under violator compact suspension. Sentence: $100 fine.

Kurtis R. Badertscher, 44, A 137 County Road 10, Leipsic, pleaded no contest to driving under FRA non-compliance. Sentence: $100 fine.
