May 17

Kendric D. Thomas, 41, 303 Short St., Napoleon, was sentenced to 90 days jail for attempted possession of drugs (cocaine) with 83 days suspended. He was also fined $500 with $300 suspended. He must obtain and maintain employment and complete all counseling and treatment recommended.

May 21

Russell A. Doster, 38, 6458 Schwartz Road, Fort Wayne, Ind., was sentenced to 90 days jail for failure to give notice of residence address change. He was placed on five years community control and given credit for 69 days served. He must obtain and maintain employment and comply with all the rules and regulations of the probation department.

May 22

Credit Acceptance Corp., Southfield, Mich., was granted judgment against Andrew Schwiebert, Leipsic, in the amount of $20,751.27, plus interest and costs.

May 23

Alexander L. Pardo, 25, 1382 Road Y, Leipsic, was remanded to the WORTH Center for violating the terms of supervision. The violations included being unsuccessfully discharged from the program at the WORTH Center. He must obtain and maintain employment and complete all counseling and treatment recommended. He had been convicted of possession of drugs (methamphetamine).

May 15

Zechariah G. Hudson, 35, 109 W. Dixon St., Forest, charged with domestic violence, a felony, bound over to common pleas court.

May 20

Nancy A. Matteson, 52, 221 Plum St., Columbus Grove, pleaded guilty to an amended offense of second-offense reckless operation. Sentence: Four points, 30 days jail, suspended, $250 fine, one-year license suspension. She also pleaded guilty to failure to stop after an accident on public roads. Sentence: 180 days jail, suspended, $250 fine, three-year license suspension, and complete drug and alcohol assessment.

May 21

Blythe D. Reed, 33, 6707 State Route 224, Ottawa, pleaded no contest to first-offense OVI and was found guilty. Sentence: 180 days jail, 177 days suspended, $750 fine, $375 suspended, one-year license suspension, with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP.

Amanda N. Vermillion, 30, 17361 County Road 304, Forest, pleaded guilty to driving under non-compliance suspension. Sentence: $250 fine. A charge of child restraint was dismissed.

May 23

Jennifer A. Rangel, 38, 610 St. Andrews Blvd., Lima, pleaded guilty to theft. Sentence: 180 days jail, 178 days suspended, $150 fine.
