SPENCERVILLE — Albert Epps of Spencerville brought his 2003 Chevy Corvette “50th Anniversary” to the Westgate Charity Car Show. He had owned it one year.
Epps knows Corvettes as he had owned a 1993 Corvette for 20 years. “My brother bought the 1993,” said Epps.
The 50 Anniversary Edition commemorated a half century of Corvette production. Chevy chose a red paint called “Anniversary Red Metallic” for this special edition. The interior featured two-tone leather with badges completing the package.
A modified 50th Anniversary Edition Corvette paced the Indianapolis 500 race in May of 2002.
