LIMA — A 27-year-old Lima woman was jailed on suspicion of felonious assault following a stabbing incident late Sunday evening.
According to Sgt. Jason Garlock of the Lima Police Department, officers were dispatched shortly after 11 p.m. to 765½ Greenlawn Avenue in reference to a report of domestic violence.
Upon their arrival officers spoke with Shaquille Brown, 21, of Lima, who had been stabbed several times in the arm and upper back. The wounds were not life-threatening, the report states.
Brown and Jasmine Clapper, who reside together at the residence, had become involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical, police said. Clapper subsequently stabbed Brown, according to the report, and was taken to the Allen County jail.
