ST. MARYS — Tim and Angela Kirk, of St. Marys, brought their 1979 Chevy Camaro Z28 to the Westgate Charity Car Show last June. They have owned it morer than five years.

The Kirks were attracted to the car, as all numbers match. It has a 350 cublic inch motor and only 91,000 miles on it.

“We drive it to cruise-ins and car shows and take it to the race track,” Tim Kirk said. “We won Street Car Mayhem in Muncie, Indiana, last year.”

The 1979 Camaro Z28’s brought a little more style to the board. They came with a front spoiler and fender flares. Sales for the 1979 model year were the highest ever for any Chevy Camaro.

“We have a lot of fun with it,” Kirk said.
