Lima woman arrested after allegedly stabbing uncle



LIMA — A 20-year-old Lima woman was arrested and charged with suspicion of felonious assault following an apparent stabbling Wednesday afternoon.

According to a spokesman for the Lima Police Department, officers were dispatched at approximately 3:15 p.m. to 218 S. Collett Street in reference to an assault involving a knife. Upon their arrival, officers located resident Daniel Williams, 43, suffering from cuts to his left ear and chin.

Officers determined that a verbal altercation between Williams and Kayonna Stiggers, 20, had turned phyical and that Stiggers had grabbed a kitchen knife and cut Williams with it.

Police said Williams is Stiggers’ uncle.

Daniels was transported to Mercy Health-St Rita’s Medical Center and treated for his injuries. Stiggers was transported to Memorial Health System for treatment before being booked into jail.
