ELIDA — Shelly Mooney with Mercy Health Pharmacy will give presentations on prescription drug and opioid abuse from 9:40 a.m. to 1:27 p.m. Monday, May 13, at Elida High School, 4380 Sunnydale Ave., Elida.
The presentations for students will focus on prescription medication safety as well as e-cigarette and vaping information.
Prescription Drug & Opioid Abuse Presentations at Elida High School
On Monday, May 13, 2019 Shelly Mooney with Mercy Health Pharmacy will give presentations in Elida High School health classes on the topic of Prescription Drug & Opioid Abuse. Mercy Health Pharmacy has been doing outreach presentations since 2016. Their goal in presenting in the schools is to help educate students on the dangers of misusing prescription medications. They hope the students then pass on their knowledge to friends and or family members and ultimately enhance medication safety in our community.
The presentations will focus on prescription medication safety as well as e-cigarette & vaping information, and will be held in Mr.Thompson & Mrs. Woolbright’s classes, Room 190 during these class times: 9:40-10:11, 10:15-10:45, 10:49-11:19, 11:23-12:23 and 12:57-1:27.
