Defendants sentenced in Allen County courtooms


LIMA — The following individuals were sentenced recently in Allen County Common Pleas Court:

Keenan Brown, 29, of Lima, was sentenced to three years on probation and was ordered to perform 60 hours of community service for failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer. He was also fined $2,000.

Ashure Blackshear, 21, of Detroit, Michigan, was sentenced to three years on probation on a charge of failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer and carrying a concealed weapon. He was ordered to forfeit the weapon in question and his driver’s license was suspended for one year.

Michael Hanes, 23, of Marion, was sentenced to six months in prison for the aggravated possession of drugs. That time is to be served consecutively to a sentence Hanes was already serving.

Karsyne Hansen, 19, of Lima, was sentenced to two years on probation on a charge of resisting arrest. A sentence of 180 days in the county jail was suspended upon her successful completion of community controls.

Eddie Brown, 42, of Lima, was sentenced to 54 months in prison on charges of trafficking in cocaine, possession of cocaine and having a weapon under disability.

Tryson Gibson, 32, of Lima, as sentenced to three years on probation with a stay in the W.O.R.T.H. center on a count of domestic violence.

Adams Boeckman, 31, Ohio Department of Corrections, was sentenced to six months in prison, to be served consecutive to a sentence out of Mercer County, on a charge of aggravated possession of drugs.

Vincent McKercher, 39, of Lima, was sentenced to three years on probation on a charge of attempted possession of marijuana. He as ordered to forfeit $6,447 tot he West Central Ohio Crime Task Force.
