LIMA — Two Lima men were taken into custody Wednesday following the execution of a search warrant at a Lima residence.
At approximately 5:30 p.m. Wednesday members of the West Central Ohio Task Force, with assistance from the Allen County SWAT team, served a residential search warrant at 304 Ewing Ave. Suspected methamphetamine and crack cocaine were recovered, as was a handgun.
Several subjects were located inside the residence. Jesse Arnett, 39, and Benjamin Burton, 36, both of Lima, were arrested on separate unrelated warrants.
Arnett’s warrant was out the Allen County Common Pleas Court for receiving stolen property, which was related to the theft a Bobcat in February.
Burton had an active failure to appear warrant through Lima Municipal Court.
The investigation is still ongoing and will be presented to an Allen County grand jury at a later date.
