Stargazing event scheduled in New Knoxville


Stargazing event: 9 p.m., Neil Armstrong Airport, 7776 state Route 219, New Knoxville. Free. Glass telescopes available.

NEW KNOXVILLE — There will be a stargazing event at 9 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at the Neil Armstrong Airport, 7776 state Route 219, New Knoxville.

The event is free and open to the public. There will be glass telescopes to view with, and those with their own telescopes are invited to join as well for the New Moon.

Thursday, August 1, 9:30 p.m. at Kuenning-Dicke Natural Area, New Bremen (New Moon)

Thursday, August 15, 9:00 p.m. at Armstrong Air & Space Museum (Wink at the Moon, Full

Moon)
