BLUFFTON — Bluffton University will present its May Day musical “Guys and Dolls” at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 3 and Saturday, May 4 in Founders Hall.
Tickets are $15 for reserved seats, $5 for bleacher seating and free for Bluffton students online at tickets.bluffton.edu.
The musical, with lyrics by Frank Loesser and book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows, depicts gambler Nathan Detroit, who is seeking cash to set up the biggest craps game in town, but both the authorities and his fiancé of 14 years are breathing down his neck. When Detroit makes a bet with a fellow gambler’s love life, this oddball romantic comedy takes us from Times Square to Cuba to the sewers of New York City.
