Fire damages home in Columbus Grove


COLUMBUS GROVE — The Columbus Grove Fire Department is investigating a fire that broke out around 10 p.m. Saturday night.

Crews were dispatched to the house in the 300 block of Taylor Street. When they arrived, they found heavy smoke coming from the attic.

Firefighters extinguished the fire, containing it to the attic.

Columbus Grove Fire Department received help from the Kalida Volunteer Fire Department, Riley Township Fire Department and the Ottoville Fire Department.
