CLOVERDALE — State fire investigators are still looking for the public’s help in obtaining information surrounding an arson incident earlier this month in the Putnam County village of Cloverdale.
The fire occurred at 4:19 a.m. April 7 at the village town hall building, 210 Mahoning St., Cloverdale. The blaze was reported by a newspaper carrier delivering to the home next door to the town hall.
The investigation is being conducted by the State Fire Marshal’s office and the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office. A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered by the Blue Ribbon Arson Committee for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the fire.
