LIMA — The Van Gogh Celebration Exhibit will open Friday, March 30, artist Vincent Van Gogh’s birthday, through April 10 at ArtSpace/Lima, 65-67 Town Square, Lima.
ArtSpace is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
In honor of artist Vincent Van Gogh’s birthday on March 30th, ArtSpace/Lima will be having a collaboration exhibit, showcasing work from their permanent collection that connects similarities to Van Gogh’s paintings during his brief life. Some of the highlights featured from the ArtSpace permanent collection will be sunflower paintings and photos by Mike Huffman and Ron Fisher, crow prints and sculptures by Jaye Bumbaugh, and night sky paintings from the collection of Libby Lloyd. There will be selected prints and reference materials available for more about the life of one of the most famous post-impressionist painters in the history of Western art.
The exhibit is free and open to the public and will open on Saturday, March 30th, and close on April 10th.
