LIMA — The League of Women Voters of the Lima Area will host a program on human trafficking at 7 p.m. Monday, March 25, at Solid Rock Cafe, Shawnee United Methodist Church, 2600 Zurmehly Road, Lima.
A representative from the Northwest Ohio Rescue and Restore Coalition will present the program on the ongoing issue of human trafficking and local responses. The program is free and open to the public.
The League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan political organization, encourages the informed and active participation of citizens in government and public policy through education and advocacy on issues of community interest. The League is a grassroots organization with membership open to everyone.
