ODOT begins bridge maintenance work in Allen and Van Wert counties


LIMA — The Ohio Department of Transportation is planning bridge maintenance in both Allen and Van Wert counties this week running through late April.

In Allen County, crews will be working on bridges on Swaney Road over Interstate 75, north of Beaverdam; Interstate 75 over Little Riley Creek, north of Beaverdam; and the entrance ramp from Bluelick Road to Interstate 75, Lima.

Work will also begin on U.S. 30 near state Route 115, west of Cairo in Allen County; U.S. 30 between Leatherwood Road and Ridge Road, east of Delphos in Allen County; U.S. 30 between Ringwald Road and Dog Creek Road, north of Middle Point in Van Wert County; U.S. 30 over U.S. 127/U.S. 224, within the city of Van Wert in Van Wert County; U.S. 30 between John Brown road and Dutch John Road, near the city of Van Wert, in Van Wert County.

State Route 66 over Flat Fork Creek, between East Hunt Street and Lima Avenue within the city of Delphos, will also be minimally impacted by bridge maintenance operations. Work will be done primarily off the highway.
