Defendants indicted by grand jury plead not guilty in Allen County courtroom


LIMA — Pleas of not guilty were submitted Friday morning in Allen County Common Pleas Court on behalf of the following individuals indicted on felony charges by the recent session of the grand jury:

Monteil Alexander, 21, Lima, aggravated possession of drugs and possession of cocaine with multiple specifications;

Jerome Fuqua, 59, Lima, murder with a firearm specification, felonious assault with a firearm specification and having weapons under disability;

Nicholas Marino, 32, Toledo, illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a specified governmental facility;

Diamond Osborne, 19, Lima, felonious assault;

Ciara Dinsmore, 27, homeless, robbery and three counts of kidnapping;

Kenith Varno, 52, homeless, aggravated robbery and felonious assault;

Kenneth Cobb, 59, Lima, murder with a firearm specification and a repeat violent offender specification, one count of felonious assault with a firearm specification and one count of having weapons under disability;

Christian Laws, 18, Lima, carrying a concealed weapon and improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle;

Darod Florence, 21, Lima, having weapons under disability, carrying a concealed weapon and illegal possession of a firearm in a liquor permit.

Martez Thomas, 18, Lima, possession of cocaine, improper handling of firearms in a motor vehicle and having weapons under disability;

Joshua Vititoe, 34, Lima, three counts of burglary;

Tryson Gipson, 32, Lima, domestic violence;

Anthony Goins, 60, Lima, two counts of operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or a drug of abuse;

Charles Roberts III, 62, Lima, domestic violence;

Aaron Johnson, 25, Lima, having weapons under disability, possession of a fentanyl related compound, possession of cocaine and possession of heroin;

Nicholas Lawrence, 36, Harrod, two counts of operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or a drug of abuse;

Carmen Banks, 45, Lima, assault;

De’Shawn Bowens, 30, Lima, possession of cocaine;

Taylor Williams, 25, Ada, theft;

James Brown, 35, Cairo, improper handling of firearms in a motor vehicle;

Aja Hammonds, 35, Lima, carrying a concealed weapon and improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle.

Derrick Irons Jr., 22, Lima, burglary with a firearm specification, felonious assault with a firearm specification, improperly discharging a firearm at or near a habitation, domestic violence and violating a protection order.
