Putnam County Common Pleas Court
Jacquelyn N. Hiegel, 36, 1040 S. Main St., Ottawa, was sentenced to 90 days in jail for violating community control. The violations included being in possession of methamphetamines and being unsuccessfully discharged from the Devlac Program. The jail sentence was suspended upon the acceptance and completion of the Chrysalis House Substance Abuse Treatment Program for Women. She was placed on five years community control, must obtain and maintain employment and complete all treatment and counseling recommended. She was originally convicted of possession of drugs (heroin).
The jail sentence for Ty A. Castillo, 28, 519 Ohio St., Leipsic, was reconsidered from 180 days in jail to 110 days jail for possession of drugs (cocaine). He must complete all previous non-residential sanctions and comply with all the rules of probation. He is to be released Feb. 18.
Kyley A. Gardner, 30, 408 E. Main St., Van Wert, was sentenced to 15 months in prison for violating the terms of supervision. The violations included being unsuccessfully discharged from the Devlac program. She was given credit for 362 days served and any incarceration time prior to her transfer. She was originally convicted of aggravated possession of drugs (methamphetamine) and endangering children.

Nathan B. Huff, 2108 Winona Drive, Middletown, pleaded no contest to carrying a concealed weapon and was found guilty. Sentence: 180 days jail, 150 days suspended, $250 fine.
Brandon M. Bauer, 32, 1939 N. Defiance St., Lot 16, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of persistent disorderly conduct. Sentence: 30 days jail, 29 days suspended, $250 fine, complete mental health assessment as well as Batterer’s Intervention no contact with victim for one year.
Josalyna L. Baney, 35, 510 North St., Leipsic, charged with burglary, a felony, bound over to common pleas court.
Maxe D. Raciti, 56, 137 Vance St., Bluffton, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of disorderly conduct. Sentence: $150 fine.
Brian J. Behrens, 38, 34 25th St. S, Battle Creek, Mich., pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia. Sentence: $150 fine and driver’s license suspended for 12 months. A charge of possession of marijuana was dismissed.
