Defendants sentenced in Allen County courtrooms


The following individuals were sentenced recently in Allen County Common Pleas Court:

Matthew Lord, 31, Cridersville, was sentenced to six months in prison on two counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Maurice Reynolds, 36, Lima, was sentenced to three years in prison on charges of aggravated possession of drugs and possession of cocaine.

Martrice Thomas, 41, address not available, was sentenced to three years in prison on charges of receiving stolen property and having a weapon under disability.

Savion Escarsega, 18, Lima, was sentenced to two years on probation for improperly handling a firearm in a motor vehicle.

Tyler Humes, 27, address unavailable, was sentenced to five years in prison on a charge of robbery. He was ordered to make restitution in the amount of $215 to the victim in the case.

Robert Chestnut, 43, Lima, was sentenced to 18 months in prison for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Tony Gipson, 50, Lima, was sentenced to 24 months in prison on a charge of operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, a drug of abuse or a combination of them. His driver’s license was suspended for 10 years.

Artillus Foster Jr., 18, Lima, was sentenced to three years on probation on a charge of having a weapon under disability. The firearms in question were forfeited to the Lima Police Department.
