Bill assistance available for DP&L customers


WAPAKONETA — Dayton Power and Lights (DP&L) customers may apply for up to $200 in utility bill assistance through the West Ohio Community Action Partnership (WOCAP), the agency announced on Tuesday.

According to WOCAP, beneficiaries must reside in Auglaize or Mercer counties and have a household income at or below 200 percent of the federal poverty level, or $50,200 annual income for a family of four. Applicants must provide a current electric and gas bill, social security numbers for all household members, income documentation for all household members from the last 30 days, proof of U.S. citizenship and proof of disability when applicable, WOCAP said.
