AUGLAIZE TOWNSHIP — Troopers from the Lima post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol are investigating a two-vehicle crash in eastern Allen County from Sunday afternoon.

According to a supervisor at the Lima post, the crash occurred at 2:10 p.m. at the intersection of Napoleon and Clum Roads. A 2015 Kia Rio, driven by Molli Nickles, 44, of Lima, was southbound on Napoleon Road, while a 2018 Chevrolet Cruze, driven by Stephen Brewer, 35, of Lima, was traveling westbound on Clum Road. Brewer failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign at the intersection, causing Nickles to strike the vehicle.

Harrod Fire and EMS responded to the scene. Nickles was transported to Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Medical Center for minor injuries. Brewer, along with passenger Sara Brewer, 23, of Lima, were also transported to St. Rita’s for minor injuries. A 3-year-old child in Brewer’s vehicle was uninjured.
