OTTAWA — A Paulding County man was flown to a Toledo hospital with what were described as life-threatening injuries Thursday morning.
According to a spokesman for the Lima post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 21-year-old Austin Bidlack, of Cecil, was traveling on Putnam County Road C near Road 23 when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.
Bidlack was listed in critical condition on Thursday afternoon at St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo.
The patrol spokesman said drugs are suspected as a factor in the crash. Bidlack was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the incident.
