LIMA — Sensitive Santa will be available from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, at Marimor School, 2500 Ada Road.
The free event is by West Central Ohio Abilities Collaborative and the Allen County Board of Developmental Disabilities.
The event also features crafts, snacks, a reading of “The Night Before Christmas” and sensory-friendly items for sale by EdPro.

Sensitive Santa Event for Children with Disabilities
The West Central Ohio Abilities Collaborative, in cooperation with the Allen County Board of Developmental Disabilities, will be hosting a Sensitive Santa event on Friday, December 14th from 6-8 p.m. in the gymnasium at Marimor School (2550 Ada Rd., Lima). The event is free and open to all children with special needs.
Families are invited to celebrate the Holiday Season in a sensory friendly environment in which Santa is quiet and approachable on the child’s level. The evening will feature crafts, snacks, music by Jim Boedicker and a special reading of “The Night Before Christmas” by Santa himself. Families will also be able to browse and purchase from selection of sensory friendly items provided by EdPro of Lima.
