Nov. 26

Joshua J. Carpenter, 39, 1803 Agner St., Ottawa, pleaded guilty to tampering with evidence and aggravated possession of drugs. He faces up to 48 months in prison and $12,500 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 9:30 a.m. Jan. 11, 2019. Charges of driving under suspension, display of license plates and consumption in a motor vehicle were dismissed.

Nov. 27

Daniel J. Stauffer, 23, 7644 Road 15C, Ottawa, was sentenced to 90 days jail for violating the terms of supervision. He was placed on five years community control, must obtain and maintain employment and complete all counseling and treatment recommended. He must obtain a GED if determined appropriate. He was originally convicted of possession of drugs.

Madison N. Fenbert, 21, 13350 Road 3, Pandora, was sentenced to one year in jail for violating the terms of supervision. She was given credit for 325 days served. She had been convicted of attempted burglary.

Jade M. Coleman, 19, 631 Sycamore St., Apt. C12, Columbus Grove, pleaded no contest to endangering children. He faces up to 180 days jail and $1,000 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 8:30 a.m. Feb. 1, 2019.

Nov. 28

Justin W. Sergent, 30, 347 Colony Trial, Lima, was sentenced to 17 months in prison for violating the terms of supervision. He was given credit for 48 days served and any additional time pending transfer. He was originally convicted of domestic violence.

Judd C. Spencer, 49, 13603 Ayersville-Defiance Road, Holgate, was sentenced to 180 days jail and fined $500 for using weapons while intoxicated. The judge suspended 175 days jail and $250 provided he maintain employment and complete all counseling and treatment recommended. He was also convicted of domestic violence while a carrying a concealed weapon charge was dismissed.

William H. Lucas, IV, 19, 140 Williamstown Road, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to endangering children. He faces up to 180 days jail and $1,000 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 9 a.m. Feb. 1.

Nov. 29

Heather Burris, 41, 530 E. Kibby St., Lima, was sentenced to six days jail for felony non-support. She was given credit for six days served and was placed on five years community control, must obtain and maintain employment and complete all counseling and treatment recommended. Three other counts were dismissed.

Barbara J. Glock, Findlay, and William L. Glock, Findlay, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married Dec. 3, 1988 in Hancock County and have no children.

Nov. 15

Jason D. Mansfield, 41, 140 Franklin St., Ottawa, pleaded no contest to criminal trespassing and was found guilty. Sentence: 30 days jail, with credit given for nine days served.

Cory J. Hull, 30, 401 Seneca St., Dupont, pleaded guilty to OVI. Sentence: 180 days jail, 170 days suspended, $750 fine, $375 suspended, one-year license suspended, with completion of assessment at Pathways Counseling Center. A charge of improper lane usage was dismissed.

Zachary M. Kelley, 18, 15875 Harris Road, Defiance, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of second-offense reckless operation. Sentence: 30 days jail, 27 days suspended, $250 fine, with credit for three days upon completion of DIP and complete assessment at Pathways Counseling Center. A charge of expired plates was dismissed.

Lorie M. Drew, 47, 527 N. Perry St., Ottawa, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of second-offense reckless operation. Sentence: Four points, 30 days jail, suspended, $250 fine, must attend and complete DIP. A charge of speeding was dismissed.

Nov. 19

Jerry A. Zimmerman, 61, 5168 York County Road, Columbus, pleaded guilty to OVI. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, 177 days suspended, $750 fine, $375 suspended, one-year license suspension, with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP and complete drug and alcohol assessment. Another charge of OVI was dismissed.

Nov. 20

Airam A. Vega, 22, 17466 Fairway Drive, Apt. C, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to drug paraphernalia. Sentence: $150 fine and six-month license suspension. She was also fined $150 for drug abuse/possession.

Joshua A. Mangas, 36, 205 Main St., Gilboa, pleaded guilty to drug paraphernalia. Sentence: $150 fine. A charge of drug abuse/possession was dismissed.

Nov. 26

Quintin M. Bruce, 18, 1148 E. Second St., Ottawa, found guilty of drug abuse/possession. Sentence: $150 fine.

Nov. 27

Joshua D. Stewart, 32, 4253 W. Lincoln Highway, Gomer, pleaded no contest to drug abuse/possession and was found guilty. Sentence: $150 fine and license suspended for six-months. He was also fined $150 for drug paraphernalia.

Nov. 29

Ruth L. Winget, 19, G503 County Road 11, Hamler, pleaded no contest to drug abuse/possession and was found guilty. Sentence: $150 fine and license suspended for six-months.

Sydni Paniagua-Fittro, 21, 701 College Ave., Lima, pleaded guilty to drug abuse/possession. Sentence: $150 fine and license suspended for six-months.
