KALIDA — A Crafty Christmas open house will be from 1-4 p.m. Dec. 2 at Putnam County Historical Society, 201 E. Main St.
Local craftspeople will offer their items for sale, and there will be crafts for children to do.

KALIDA – The Putnam County Historical Society has two special events coming up at the museum in Kalida.
On Sunday, December 2, they will host a “Crafty Christmas” Open House at the museum. This event will feature Putnam County artists and crafters. Numerous tables will be set up by local skilled residents who will offer their items for sale.
Among the items to be offered are stained glass window hangings, doll clothes, art pieces, wreaths, jewelry, and numerous other items.
This is an opportunity to do you Christmas shopping and support our residents. The open house is from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Their will be craft activities for the children to enjoy.
On Sunday, December 9, area residents will provide “Music at the Museum” during another open house. Soloists, groups and instrumentalists will provide special music.
The afternoon will also include a special sing-along where guests can enjoy an old-fashioned time of singing Christmas carols together.
Their will be activities for the children including having them makes a take-home instrument.
This open house is from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The museum is located at 201 East Main Street in Kalida.
