Housing funds awarded to local communities


LIMA — The Ohio Development Services Agency awarded more than $27 million to 41 communities to repair, rehabilitate and construct affordable housing for low-income residents and to provide homeownership and rental assistance.

This year’s grant recipients include Auglaize County, which will receive $250,000 to repair and rehabilitate 16 owner-occupied homes, Hardin County, which will receive $700,000 to repair 25 homes and provide rental assistance to eight households, and Mercer County, which will receive $400,000 to repair 15 homes and provide rental assistance to 10 households.
