LIMA — A ceremony to honor military veterans on Veterans Day will be held at 11:11 a.m. Sunday at the Veterans Freedom Flag Monument, 1191 Buckeye Road.
The ceremony will honor military veterans who have fought on behalf of their country in more than 65 wars and conflicts since 1776.
“They made a difference in the world we live in. They fought for freedom for us and for others. They have help feed the starving, built homes, schools and hospitals. They have rescued people in trouble due to storms, fires, floods and internal strife in our country and others countries. They have made this world a better place to live by giving their time, talent, treasures and themselves,” said event organizer Greg Gebolys.
