Another Lima fire described by officials as ‘suspicious’

LIMA — An early morning fire at an unoccupied Lima residence has been called “suspicious” by local fire investigators.

According to a spokesman for the Lima Fire Department, firefighters were dispatched at 3:51 a.m. Thursday to 1308 E. Fourth St. in reference to a structure fire.

Upon their arrival, firefighters found fire in the second story and extending into the attic of what was described as a vacant home owned by Tiffany Miller.

Damage to the structure was estimated at $6,000. The blaze remains under investigation.
