LIMA — A Lima man died from injuries suffered in a Sunday night traffic accident.

According to the Lima post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Donald Harrod, 59, died Tuesday at St. Vincent Medical Hospital in Toledo.

Harrod was walking westbound on Flanders Avenue near the intersection of Findlay Road in Lima at approximately 7:30 p.m. Sunday when he was struck by a Volvo tractor operated by Danny Stevens, 64, of Lima, which was also westbound on Flanders Avenue.

Stevens was treated by medical personnel on scene and released.

Alcohol and drugs are not suspected, and the crash remains under investigation, according to a patrol statement.

The Lima post was assisted by the Allen County Sheriff’s Office, Lima Police Department, Toledo Police Department, Bath Township Fire and EMS and Big Daddy’s Towing.
