Chase ends at Lima hospital

LIMA — A 30-minute high-speed pursuit through Lima ended at Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Medical Center early Saturday morning.

Lima police got the call of a domestic dispute in progress in the 500 block of Woodlawn Avenue.

An Allen County Sheriff’s Deputy spotted a vehicle matching the description of one just leaving the location and started the chase. That deputy was assisted by at least two other Lima Police cars.

It ended around 1 a.m. in the parking lot of the hospital.

Jazz Howell was taken into custody after leading police on the chase.
