Man robs South Main Street establishment at gunpoint

LIMA — Police are looking for a man who robbed a South Main Street establishment in the early-morning hours Wednesday.

According to Sgt. Jason Garlock of the Lima Police Department, officers were dispatched to Luxury Hall, 721 S. Main St., at approximately 3:20 a.m. Wednesday in reference to a reported armed robbery.

Lissie Cartwright, 34, of Lima, told police she was inside the establishment when a black male brandishing a medium-sized handgun entered the business, approached her and said “give me everything.” Cartwright, who police described as an apparent employee at the business, said the gunman took $700 from her before he fled.

The suspect is described as a tall, thin black male who was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt over a white T-shirt.
