Boil advisory lifted in St. Marys


ST. MARYS — St. Marys lifted its boil water advisory at 10:30 a.m. today.

Laboratory tests verified there were no warmful levels of bacteria in the areas of Waesch Road, Allmans Subdivision, Otterbein Homes and Senior Living, Southmoor Shores, Rustic Haven, Harmons Landing and Breezewood Estates, Jeffrey Thompson, the superintendent of water and sewer departments, said.

Normal water usage and service is restored. The area had been under a water boil order after a planned depressurization Tuesday.

Residents with questions should call the water department at 419-394-4114 from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or the St. Marys Police Department at 419-394-2325 after hours.
