HANCOCK COUNTY — A gruesome discovery Monday morning by an Ohio Department of Transportation worker along Interstate 75 has prompted a death investigation.
According to a trooper on the scene, just after 9:30 a.m., a worker who was mowing along the northbound lanes of I-75 10 miles south of Findlay noticed a sleeping bag in the path of his mower. When he went to move the bag, he opened it and found human remains inside.
As a precaution, officers, with a cadaver dog were searching an area five miles to the north and south of the scene.
