3rd ANNUAL RIGHT AT HOME SPOTLIGHTS LOCAL ARTISTS
The 3rd annual Right at Home - Art for Recovery event, an art auction featuring local and area artists, will be held on Thursday, October 25th. It will again be held at The Met and begin at 6:00 pm. Each fall, Coleman Professional Services holds this signature event, which continues to be a unique evening which bridges the communities that Coleman serves.
For the first time this year, Coleman and ArtSpace Lima will partner to bring a new feature to the auction. The theme for the visual art is “Hope” and all artists who donate work will be eligible for the Hope Award, a cash prize of $250. Artists will be encouraged to submit works in all mediums that portray the light, feeling and emotion of the theme of hope and recovery. This artwork will be submitted to ArtSpace/Lima at 65 Town Square from Oct. 9 – 13. Artists can make arrangements to drop off works at other selected times by calling ArtSpace/Lima at 419-222-1721.
More than 50 people attended last year’s event, a focused celebration of art, wine, and philanthropy. The event also provides an opportunity for those attending to learn about the work being done by Coleman, a provider of addiction and behavioral health services in the community.
The event will feature its signature Art Auction, wine and hors d’houvres. There will be a Wall of Wine offering great reds and whites for $20 each. Hidden among them will be two $100 bottles, which will go to the lucky person who pulls them.
Invitations will be sent in early September, but tickets are also available, at $50 per person, by contacting Coleman Professional Services at 330-676-6876, emailing email@example.com or by going to the Right at Home Lima page under the Events tab at www.colemanservices.org.
