ALLEN COUNTY

Interstate 75 between Bentley Road and state Route 103, Bluffton, will be restricted to one lane at times for a bridge repair project on I-75 over Riley Creek and on the county Road 15 bridge over Interstate 75. A maximum width restriction of 13 feet is in place during lane restrictions. The project is expected to be completed in late September. Work is being performed by Miller Brothers Construction, Archbold.

Interstate 75 between state Route 81 and Fourth Street, Lima, will be reduced to one lane in both directions at times beginning Sept. 24 for repair of pavement under warranty. Work will take place on the mainline lanes of I-75, as well as the exit and entrance ramps at state Route 81, state Route 309 and Fourth Street. Work is expected to continue through late October. Work is being performed by Kokosing Construction Company, Columbus.

Interstate 75 over Little Riley Creek, just north of Beaverdam, is restricted to one lane at times for a bridge repair project. Shoulder restrictions are also possible during the project. A maximum width restriction of 12 feet is in place during the lane restrictions. Work is being performed by Complete General Construction, Columbus.

Interstate 75 between state Route 81 and Napoleon Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction through the work zone for pavement repair. Work is being performed by the ODOT Allen County maintenance garage.

Interstate 75 between state Route 81 and Stewart Road will be restricted to one lane in both directions nightly for the installation of pavement sensors. Lane restrictions will generally last between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. The project is expected to continue through late September. Work is being performed by Digital Traffic Systems, Inc., Ashland, Virginia.

U.S. 30 will be restricted to one lane at times in both directions at multiple locations in Allen and Van Wert counties for the sealing and patching of bridge decks. A maximum width restriction of 12 feet will be in place during lane restrictions. The affected locations are as follows. Work is being performed by Complete General Construction, Columbus.

U.S. 30 near State Route 115, west of the village of Cairo in Allen County

U.S. 30 between Leatherwood Road and Ridge Road, east of the city of Delphos in Allen County

U.S. 30 between U.S. 224 and U.S. 127, just north of the city of Van Wert in Van Wert County

U.S. 30 between Ringwald Road and Dog Creek Road, north of the village of Middle Point in Van Wert County

State Route 65 between Grand Avenue and state Route 115, Lima, is reduced to one lane through the work zone at various locations for work related to a roadway rehabilitation project that will last through the summer. Work is being performed by the Shelly Company, Findlay.

The following impacts to traffic are occurring:

State Route 65 between Grand Avenue and Northern Avenue will be reduced to one lane through the work zone for resurfacing.

Traffic on state Route 65 between Northern Avenue and Jacobs Avenue, just north of Casa Lu Al Restaurant, has been switched onto the northbound side of the roadway while widening work takes place on the southbound side.

One lane of traffic is maintained in both directions. The turn lane is not available.

Traffic delays can be expected during the project.

State Route 81 from Wapak Road to Eastown Road, Lima, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for work associated with pavement resurfacing. Work is expected to continue through late September. Work is being performed by Shelly Company, Findlay.

State Route 81 between McClure Road and Fisher Road, west of Lafayette, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement resurfacing. Work is being performed by Bluffton Paving, Bluffton.

State Route 117 between the city of Lima and the village of Spencerville will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement repairs. Work is being performed by the ODOT Allen County maintenance garage.

State Route 309 between Interstate 75 and the Allen County Fairgrounds, Lima, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for repairs of pavement under warranty during the week of Sept. 24. Work is being performed by Kokosing Construction Company, Columbus.

State Route 309 between Easton Road and Robb Avenue, within the city of Lima, will be minimally affected by traffic signal equipment replacements at multiple intersections. Occasional flagging operations may be necessary while equipment above the intersection is replaced. Work is expected to continue through late September. Work is being performed by Perram Electric, Wadsworth.

State Route 696 over Interstate 75, Beaverdam, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for expansion joint repairs. Work is expected to begin Wednesday, Sept. 26, and last for approximately two days. Work is being performed by Dynamic Surface Applications, Pennsdale, Pennsylvania.

AUGLAIZE COUNTY

SR 66 between SR 219 and Southland Road, ROAD CLOSURE September 17th – 19th. The official detour is: SR 66 to SR 219 to SR 364 to SR 274 to SR 66.

I-75 between SR 219 and US 33, Nightly lane closures September 4th – October 26th between the hours of 6 pm and 7 am. One lane will remain open in each direction.

SR 274 between Mercer Auglaize County Line Road and SR 66, Daily lane closures July 30th – October 1st between 7 am and 6 pm. One lane will remain open for travel in each direction using flaggers.

SR 385 between US 33 and Roundhead Township Road, Daily lane closures July 30th – October 15th between the hours of 7 am and 4 pm. One lane will remain open for travel in each direction using flaggers.

HANCOCK COUNTY

Interstate 75 between county Road 99 and the Lima Avenue/county Road 313 overpass within the city of Findlay is affected during a $114 million reconstruction and widening project. For information, visit the project website here.

Interstate 75 between Bentley Road and state Route 103, Bluffton, will be restricted to one lane at times for a bridge repair project on I-75 over Riley Creek and on the county Road 15 bridge over Interstate 75. A maximum width restriction of 13 feet is in place during lane restrictions. The project is expected to be completed in late September. Work is being performed by Miller Brothers Construction, Archbold.

U.S. 68 between Liberty Street and the bridge over Buck Run, within the village of Arlington, closed July 9 for approximately four months for pavement reconstruction. Local access will be maintained throughout the project. Work is being performed by Miller Contracting Group, Ottoville.

The following detours will be in place through the duration of the project.

U.S. 68 northbound traffic is detoured onto U.S. 30, state Route 235 and Interstate 75 back onto U.S. 68. (see map)

U.S. 68 southbound traffic is detoured onto state Route 15, U.S. 23 and U.S. 30 back onto U.S. 68. (see map)

State Route 330 between North Street and state Route 568, north of Vanlue, will be restricted to one lane for a resurfacing project. Some work has occurred on the project, but the majority of work will take place in October. Work is being performed by M&B Asphalt, Tiffin.

State Route 330 over state Route 15, Vanlue, closed May 29 for approximately four months for a bridge deck replacement. Lane restrictions on state Route 15 approaching the bridge are in place through the duration of the project. Work is being performed by E.S. Wagner, Oregon.

The following detours are in place through the duration of the project.

State Route 330 northbound traffic is detoured onto state Route 15 eastbound, U.S. 23/state Route 103, and state Route 15 westbound back onto state Route 330. (see map)

State Route 330 southbound traffic is detoured onto state Route 15 westbound, state Route 37 and state Route 15 eastbound back to state Route 330. (see map)

State Route 568 between Bright Road in Findlay and the village of Carey will be reduced to one lane through the work zone for a resurfacing project. The project is expected to complete in late September. Work is being performed by M&B Asphalt, Tiffin.

HARDIN COUNTY

State Route 67 between the city of Kenton and the Wyandot County line, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for finish work associated with a pavement repair and resurfacing project. Work is being performed by Shelly Company, Findlay.

State Route 67 between the Auglaize County line and state Route 117 will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for a resurfacing project. Work is being performed by Shelly Company, Findlay.

State Route 117 between state Route 67 and state Route 235 will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for a resurfacing project. Work is being performed by Shelly Company, Findlay.

State Route 235 between the Logan County line and state Route 117 will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for a resurfacing project. Work is being performed by Shelly Company, Findlay.

State Route 309 between the Allen County line and the city of Kenton, including its overlap with state Route 235, will be reduced to one lane through the work zone for resurfacing. Work is being performed by Bluffton Paving, Bluffton.

State Route 701 between township Road 139 and township Road 145, west of U.S. 68, is now open following railroad crossing repairs.

PUTNAM COUNTY

State Route 190 at township Road Q, north of Fort Jennings, closed Aug. 13 for approximately four months for the installation of a retaining wall along the Auglaize River. Traffic will be detoured onto state Route 634 and U.S. 224 back to state Route 190. Work is being performed by Kokosing Construction Company, Columbus. (see map)

State Route 613 between Seventh Street and township Road 20, just east of the village of Continental, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for a culvert replacement during the week of Sept. 24. The roadway will no longer close during the project as originally scheduled. Work is being performed by the ODOT Putnam County maintenance garage.

State Route 634 between county Road N and township Road M, south of Cloverdale, is now open following a culvert replacement.

SHELBY COUNTY

I-75 south between SR 47 and Fair Road, Lane closure September 17th between 9 am and 3 pm. One southbound lane will remain open.

SR 705 between SR 29 and SR 66, Daily lane closures September 4th – October 15th between the hours of 7 am and 6 pm. One lane will remain open for travel in each direction using flaggers.

I-75 between CR 25A (Sidney) and SR 219, Nightly lane closures September 4th – October 26th between the hours of 6 pm and 7 am. One lane will remain open in each direction.

SR 66 between SR 47 and Newport Road, BRIDGE CLOSURE August 20th – September 30th. The official detour is: SR 47 to I-75 to SR 29 to SR 705 to SR 66.

SR 47 between SR 66 and Kuther Road, Daily lane closures July 30th – October 1st between 7 am and 6 pm. One lane will remain open for travel in each direction using flaggers.

SR 274 between SR 29 and Staley Road, Daily lane closures July 30th – October 1st between 7 am and 6 pm. One lane will remain open for travel in each direction using flaggers.

SR 65 between Davis Street and College Street, Intermittent lane closures June 11th – October 1st. One lane will remain open in each direction using a Law Enforcement Officer.

VAN WERT COUNTY

U.S. 30 will be restricted to one lane at times in both directions at multiple locations in Allen and Van Wert counties for the sealing and patching of bridge decks. A maximum width restriction of 12 feet will be in place during lane restrictions. The affected locations are as follows. Work is being performed by Complete General Construction, Columbus.

U.S. 30 near State Route 115, west of the village of Cairo in Allen County

The following portions of state Route 116 in Van Wert County will be affected by culvert replacement projects. Work is being performed by the ODOT Van Wert County maintenance garage.

State Route 116 just south of Monticello Spencerville Road, west of Spencerville, is now open following a culvert replacement.

State Route 116 between Ireland Road and Gamble Road, east of the city of Van Wert, will no longer closed during work on a culvert below the roadway. Remain alert through the work zone as crews work along the shoulders of the roadway.

State Route 116 just south of Middle Point Road, east of the city of Van Wert, will close Oct. 1 for approximately five days for the replacement of a culvert. Traffic will be detoured onto U.S. 127 and state Route 709 back to state Route 116. (see map)
