LIMA — CASA of Allen and Putnam Counties, Ohio, is looking for volunteers interested in becoming a child advocate for abused and neglected children in the court system.
As a court-appointed volunteer, individuals in CASA provide a voice to speak in the best interests of children in the community who find themselves involved with the court or crime victim services.
Interested individuals are encouraged to participate in the 2018 fall training class. To become a child advocate, volunteers must complete an application, participate in an interview, undergo a background check and take a comprehensive training course.
For more information or to RSVP for one of the orientation sessions, individuals are asked to contact the CASA office at 567-940-2272 or email@example.com.
