ST. MARYS — The city of St. Marys recently welcomed a new company to town with the announcement that St. Marys Square Business Complex LLC has purchased the St. Marys shopping center and that Celina Tent will expand some of its production line into the former Kmart building at the complex.
“This is a great day for the city of St. Marys,” said Mayor Patrick McGowan. “We look forward to a long relationship with a great company.”
Celina Tent will expand some of its production line into the former Kmart building at the complex, the mayor said.
The previous owners of the center were located out of state for the past several years.
“Having the plaza under local control is a benefit not only to the city but the tenants as well,” said Michael Burkholder, manager of industrial and community development. “The addition of Celina Tent at the complex means jobs will be coming to the city.”
